John Ray Story-Smith

John Ray Story-Smith, 55, of Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah.

John formerly worked in government housing management. He loved music and traveling, especially to New Orleans.

Surviving is his husband, Chett Smith of Mayfield; his father Jerry Story of Metropolis; his mother, Carol (Bob) Walker of Boaz; one sister, Anna (Pat) Story of Lexington.

He was preceded by two brothers, Ricky Mathis and Randy Mathis.

Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm at his residence located at 415 Hillside Drive Mayfield, KY 42066.
